Author of thoughtful and whimsical adventure books, Cassie Vest loves to encourage others through story. Believe it or not, Cassie wasn’t always a fantasy writer. Once upon a time, she was an engineer at NASA. Technically, you can even call her Dr. Cassie because she has a Ph.D. in civil engineering. When her engineering job disappeared, she spent time with a few of her favorite things: fairytales and fantasy books. Their whimsy and hope helped lift her spirits, and she began to wonder if she could write her own. It turns out she can, and so she did. Cassie loves this unexpected adventure as a creative entrepreneur with Jesus and her husband, Sam. She hopes that the stories she writes can spiral others up into hope and joy just like so many stories have done for her.
