Four years later, when a mission lands her floating in her room in the middle of the sea, Nellie uncovers a misguided plot that prevents the new generation of Light Steppers from transporting anywhere. What follows is a haphazard adventure complete with an island of monkeys, new friends that push Nellie even further beyond her comfort zone, and a sassy puffin to light the way.
